We are currently recruiting for a Director of Engineering to join a fast growing nation-wide company. The company is a leader in providing innovative air and water treatment solutions to meet the requirements of a specific environmental issue.



  • Job Description:Design for Six Sigma knowledgeable
  • ISO9000- QMS or ISO14000- EMS experience
  • Focal point in leading technical support and client inquiries to ensure high level of client satisfaction
  • Consciously, deliberately and consistently create high customer service (internal and external) satisfaction utilizing WOW factors to strategically differentiate the company on multiple levels of that service including: overall satisfaction and general experience, delivery above and beyond baseline expectations, going the extra mile to ensure customer is not just happy, but is beyond happy and satisfied, etc.
  • Communicates regularly with Shop/Production Department regarding changes or deficiencies with respect to system readiness
  • Troubleshoots various electrical and/or control based issues and assists with resolution
  • Responsible for applying engineering standards to appropriate environmental treatment design
  • Subject matter expert in CAD (computer aided drafting) to include electrical schematics, mechanical design, two or three-dimensional models, process and instrumentation diagrams
  • Confirms quality controls such as leaks, pressure testing, ins/outs and meets specifications to ensure that system is field ready
  • Ability to understand and interpret shop drawings
  • Focal contact point for environmental treatment specialists during proposal process or component specifications (selection and pricing)
  • Able to select proper materials to ensure structural integrity to meet all design components of treatment systems
  • Ability to apply media usage information and to apply to the design of treatment system, including carbon contact time, other media contact time, flow dynamics and other crucial design criteria
  • Responsible for the development and modification of all the company s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP s)
  • Travel consists of 30- 50%



  • Requirements:Bachelor s Degree or higher in Engineering field
  • Chemical or Industrial Engineering preferred
  • 5-7 years experience as a Director over multisite operations
  • CAD experience and knowledge
  • Six Sigma experience (certification preferred)
