To build, shape and develop a portfolio of product tailored to the US market for destinations of focus, in line with the LTG global product strategy. The role will require market and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities from both within and outside of LTG s existing product range and a close understanding of US travel behaviors and requirements.
You will be responsible for identifying and implementing appropriate buying solutions for accommodation, experiences, transportation and other ground services. You will build relationships with key suppliers to negotiate contracts and exclusive offers as well as establish processes and sales tools to support the team of Travel Experts in our Solana Beach office. The role also includes working on DMC tenders, rate analysis and service level agreements to ensure that Scott Dunn USA delivers a competitive, targeted and differentiated product range to fulfil the growth potential from this market.
You will ensure product is accurately presented to guests and work alongside the Marketing team to drive ideas for digital or print campaigns, press trips or guest events. The role also works with the Head of Sales & Service Manager for updates on guest feedback and sales trends and also supports the sales teams with product training, Familiarization (FAM) trip planning and deliverables and product documentation.
The Product Development Manager will work closely with the Global Tailormade Product team in London and will be required to travel typically every 2 months to an overseas office and/or on FAM trips.
