Position: Entry-level Accountant

Our main task is to record, analyze and report financial activities timely and in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principle (GAAP). We comply with Federal, State and Local government requirements. We support Parent Company and Affiliates in establishing and growing the business. We provide pertinent information to help Management make sound business decisions.


Bachelor s Degree in Business Administration, Major in Accounting

Detail oriented pays attention to all matters relating to a financial transaction

Analytical able to record transaction accurately based on purpose and nature

Willing to learn and perform all tasks and duties in the department

Accurate can work with numbers with high degree of care and accuracy

Efficient know how to organize and prioritize tasks and routines to be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines

Knowledgeable in the field of Accountancy and working knowledge of tax

Ability to learn fast and follow rules, procedures and guidelines

Good Communication skill can communicate clearly, (orally and in writing) always taking into consideration the importance of maintaining good relationship with customers, vendors and everyone in the organization.

Teachable - can adapt to changes and develop skills for growth in the department and organization

Understand and keep financial and accounting information confidential

Innovative ability to come up with ideas for efficiency, always looking for ways to improve

Required Skills:

Accounting Software SAP or similar software

Advanced Excel (Pivot tables, V-look up, etc.)

Other Microsoft Office Software (Word and Power Point)

Main Responsibilities:

Analyze and record financial activities including AP and GL Entry in the Accounting System

Check validity and accuracy of invoices

Prepare and file Sales Tax Returns to States and Local Governments (about 30 Tax Jurisdictions)

Nexus research for compliance with Tax Authorities and Business Licensing entities

Prepare and update sub ledgers for important balance sheet and income statement accounts

Perform physical inventory (Fixed Assets, Property and Goods for sale)

Review and analyze transactions entered in the system (SAP) and make necessary corrections and reclassifications

Update files and records relevant to the department

Protect and store records and information properly (Follow archiving policy)
