Our client is a worldwide leader in 3D CAD software and 3D Printing and is looking for a Pre-Sales Engineer to join one of their top-producing offices. They have seen unprecedented growth which has created this great opportunity! This role will be a part of their fastest-growing division in the company which has doubled its revenue for the past two years.
Providing pre-sales technical expertise regarding Additive Manufacturing technology and products. This effort includes benchmarking, customer visits, marketing events, and presentations, as well as other sales and marketing efforts.
Address technical objections; conduct product demonstrations and product implementations involving the best in class 3D printing equipment.
Understand the sales process to provide more effective technical support.
Work with team members to improve current support systems.
Collaborate with the sales team to ensure technical topics are addressed
Proactively market new materials and upgrades to the client base.
Provide rapid response technical support for a wide variety of customers in many disciplines and industries for 3D printing equipment.
Document, track, and follow up with customer issues to complete resolution.
4-year degree preferred, or related experience
2+ years of prior experience as an application engineer
Thorough understanding of the Additive Manufacturing and 3D Printing Industry strongly preferred
Manufacturing experience, CAM applications, material knowledge, and experience with production 3D printers is preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work with teams.
Proficient problem solving and ability to diagnose and solve system/equipment issues.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
$70, 000-$90, 000 base salary + incentives
