Overview:

I am conducting a search for an exceptionally talented sales professional located in the Houston market to join my client' s North American sales team. The Director of Business Development is an individual contributor and is charged with hunting new business and deepening current account relationships in the Greater TX/LA marketplace.





Profile:

This role is one of prospecting new clients, developing relationships and understanding the customer s critical business strategies, then quarterbacking a team of subject matter experts to create and execute a solution to achieve the customer s business objectives. Successful candidates understand the need to build a broad understanding of their client s needs at the executive level before making recommendations about ways they might be able to assist the client. This is a Direct Business to Business Sales role both developing new business, as well as managing/growing an existing book of business.



Position Requirements:

5-15+ years of consultative, solution sales experience

Some experience with long (6+mos) sales cycles and larger ($100K+) deals is preferred

Impeccable presentation skills

BA/BS required

Selling to CHRO/HR Executives is highly preferred.



Compensation Opportunity:

Compensation is not capped and is based on your performance.

Base Salary up $125K plus commission & bonuses - 1st Year OTE $150K+.
