Description:I am conducting a search for an exceptionally talented sales professional located in the greater Princeton NJ market to join my client' s national sales team. The Business Development Director is an individual contributor and is charged with new business development and deepening account relationships throughout the market.


The focus of this role is on strategic selling to new prospects as well as managing the relationships once those clients have been sold. The selling philosophy is aligned with individuals that have a strong track record of selling complex solutions to senior executives. Successful candidates understand the need to build a broad understanding of their client s needs through relationships at the executive level. An ability to offer actionable insights and to tailor their message to a client s needs before advancing the sales conversation is important.

Compensation Opportunity:

Compensation is not capped and is based on your performance. Base salary plus commission tied to fiscal year revenue production and profitability.

Minimum 8+ years of salesexperience calling on HR execs of Fortune 1000 size companies.

History of new business development selling HCM solutions .

Demonstrable sales success through prospecting and growing revenue in multiple accounts.

Large volume sales experience ($100k plus per sale).

Experience with broad range of sales cycles ( six to eighteen months).

History of career stability.

Four year college degree is highly preferred; advanced degree is a plus.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products is required; Proficiency with Web 2.0 and SaaS solutions a plus
