Our exclusive client creates commercial and industrial lighting design and control services for businesses energy-efficient lighting solutions which maximize on incentive programs, provide optimum light and aesthetics, and help customers save up to 50% in lighting costs.

We are searching for a Director of Human Resources to develop and execute a people strategy that scales with the growth of the company and aligns with the company values.

Job Duties:

Prepares personnel forecast to project employment needs.

Writes directives advising department managers of company policy regarding equal employment opportunities, compensation, and employee benefits.

Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.

Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects employees to fill vacant positions.

Plans and conducts new employee orientation.

Keeps records of benefits plans participation such as insurance and pension plan, personnel

transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and

employee statistics for government reporting.

Coordinates management training in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, and sexual harassment.

Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.

Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.

Develops and maintains an HRIS that meets top management information needs.

Oversees the maintenance, and communication of records required by law or local

governing bodies, or other departments in the organization.

Writes and delivers presentations to corporate officers or government officials regarding

human resources policies and practices.

Education & Experience:

Master' s degree (M. A.) or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Degree in Human Resources, Business, or similar field preferred.

Certificates, Licenses and/or Registrations:

Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification preferred.
