Achieve revenue goals and sales success metrics through successful leadership of sales team

Manage behaviors and activities of sales team

Run weekly sales meetings

Conduct regularly scheduled individual meetings with sales team members, as well as quarterly reviews

Ongoing sales training/development

Manage recruiting, objective setting, coaching & performance monitoring of sales representatives

Manage lead distribution

Manage conference attendance, performance, lead generation

Generate new business through prospecting, acquiring, and developing strategic partnerships

Develop and maintain accounts using a systematic method of sales skills and techniques (Example: Strategic Selling/Sandler Sales Training) helping our partners generate new business opportunities for company.

Make persuasive group presentations

Manage multiple projects and partners

Commitment to customer service with a sense of urgency

Qualifications & Experience:

5 plus years of successful sales management experience in mentoring less tenured reps into Sales Professionals while consistently exceeding corporate revenue objectives

Track record of success in securing new revenue, managing sales teams, working directly with company owners

Proven track record of sales success

Sales experience within the transportation/ logistics/ shipping sales arena preferred

Strong network of logistics professionals preferred but not required

Highly motivated with strong competitive drive

Strong analytical, strategic selling and creative thinking skills

Excellent negotiation skills

Ability to work independently; strong work ethic

Ability to work effective within a team environment, gaining team buy in

Strong written and verbal communication skills / presentation skills

Digital marketing and channel/partnership familiarity a plus

Ability to effectively use a CRM system.

Computer skills including Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
