The Business Development Representative will be responsible for acting as the liaison between the company s Marketing and Sales teams. The role s focus will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers. Responsibilities include:
Proactively seeking new business opportunities in the market
Qualifying leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
Contacting potential clients through cold calls and emails
Presenting company to potential clients
Identifying client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
Setting up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Executives
Reporting to the Business Development Manager on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results
Staying up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans
Ultimately, the goal will be to boost sales and contribute to long-term business growth.
Previous sales or customer service experience and/or interest in being developed in a Business Development Representative Sales Development Representative opportunity.
Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls) is a plus
Track record of achieving set quotas or metrics is helpful
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to deliver engaging presentations
Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
