The Field Project Engineer is the leader and primary customer technical interface, responsible for supporting the growth and profitability objectives of the company by aligning with customer needs and delivering solutions that require a detailed understanding of the complex intersections of all engineering disciplines required on a product. This must be done in the most simple and elegant manner to ensure all stakeholder needs are met.




Essential Job Responsibilities:

Understand and use mathematical modeling, to review and create process design, provide cost estimating & support proposal writing.

Understand and ensure all customer technical requirements are satisfied by final design and the resulting design meets processing specifications and approvals

Works with production, site operations, and engineering to develop achievable project timelines and resource requirements that support customer deliverables.

Works with chemical engineering and systems engineering to define internal requirements and engineering standards to achieve design goals.

Ensures customer satisfaction by meeting deadlines, managing product changes, while optimizing product cost.

Responsible for delivering Technical Project Plans, System Risk Management, Release Engineering Bill of Material (BOM), and Technical Coordination (Mechanical, Hardware, Software, Sub-System Teams and Suppliers).

Documents all responsibilities and /or activities in order to maintain accurate records of project accountabilities. Documents, organizes, and manages all engineering analysis, design development, design verification, and design validation outputs and deliverables.

Monitors and controls objectives, costs, and timetables of product design and development.

Ensures that internal and external design development requirements are met relative to design goals, product cost, and delivery schedules.

Plan, direct, and coordinate activities of an engineering project to ensure objectives of project are met within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters

Support operations to meet applicable laws such as: OSHA, Environmental, Safety, cGMP as well as Corporate and Site Quality requirements.




Minimum Candidates Qualifications:

A four-year engineering degree

5 plus years experience in leading and working with multi-functional teams

Customer facing experience.

Excellent problem solving skills, sound decision making skills, and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a team-oriented environment.




Ideal Candidate

Experience in environmental treatment and remediation

PMI or similar Project Engineering Certification and training

Green or Black Belt Certification is a plus

Knowledge and ability to apply Lean Sigma principles highly preferred.
