This position is responsible researching, coordinating, and processing incentives offered by regional electrical utilities and efficiency programs for commercial lighting projects.
Role and Responsibilities:
Assist Sales team to research and scope available incentives and understand policies and procedures of programs in new territories.
Work with Sales team to verify qualification of proposed technologies.
Compile application materials, Excel-based incentive calculators, and supporting documentation based upon project information to prepare for submittal.
Work with Sales and Project Management teams to coordinate required site inspections.
Track project statuses and coordinate with Sales and Project Management teams, customer stakeholders, and incentive program contacts to move applications forward.
Monitor incentive communications and respond promptly to program requests for additional project information.
Prepare project invoices and final documentation upon project completion.
Work with accounting team to forecast and track incentive payments.
Prepare and distribute weekly incentive reporting to team.
Additional projects as required.
Required Skills and Experience:
Minimum of two years of experience in a similar role: Experience with coordination of projects, programs and their related incentives preferred. Other suitable types of experience include: Project management coordination.
Associate' s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Moderate Excel proficiency, including comfort with basic formulas and lookups.
Demonstrated ability to comprehend technical material, including product specifications and designs, or equivalent technical proficiency.
Experience with cross-collaboration between multiple internal teams and external stakeholders, including customer interaction.
High attention to detail.
Track record of proactive and self-directed learning.
Ability to effectively multitask and prioritize, often with minimal supervision.
Consistently positive attitude with ability to approach difficult or complex situations constructively, voice relevant concerns or ideas in a thoughtful manner, and proactively craft solutions.
Willingness to shift between high volume data entry and document management, and complex problem solving depending on project volume and team needs.
Great attitude and a sense of humor.
