**Construction or industrial service sales experience required**

SUMMARY




The Inside Sales Manager proactively manages and increases sales from our existing customer base as well as potential customers. Our client was recently acquired and looking to scale nationally. This role will spearhead that growth into new territories.




ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Build and manage relationships with prospective customers

Determine customer requirements and expectations; work with Regional Managers in order to properly quote specific jobs

Regularly manage follow-up process on quotes in order to obtain new business

Transition all quotes through Sage ERP

Maintain open quote file and produce monthly report with capture statistics

Communicate new orders to appropriate office staff

Create and maintain a prospective and current customer database with comprehensive contact information

Contact customers following sales to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and resolve any issues; develop a standard process for getting customer feedback; identify trends in customer satisfaction or dissatisfaction

Maintain a file (in conjunction with Accounting) for open contracts, jobs, and crews

Produce monthly report and statistics regarding open jobs as well as a monthly backlog amount

Create and maintain accuracy of CRM database, defining company s work opportunities

Design, write and produce email and mail campaigns in support of lead generation, blitz campaigns, marketing research, and other activities; track ROI for the campaigns

Utilize social media to promote the organization and its services

Coordinate inside sales activities with Regional Managers and the President to ensure proper chain of follow-up with customer proposals; produce regular reports including sales activity, win/loss ratio, target account status, etc.

Design and produce marketing materials and vehicle signage; develop and implement website pages in concert with Information Technology

Participate in tradeshows and ensure the company is represented well with marketing material; schedule lunches, dinners, meetings, etc. During the tradeshows

Schedule and coordinate activities for major tradeshows, including design and development of exhibit backdrops, show-specific literature, pre and post-show activities including follow-up campaigns

Develop objectives and action plans for the coming year for new business and increased capture rate






EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS



  • At least 3 years of recent inside sales experience
  • Prior experience in electric utility vegetation management, construction, logging, landscaping, mechanical, or military industries preferred
