We are searching for a Manufacturing Engineer to design, integrate, and improve manufacturing systems/related processes. You may work with other commercial or industrial designers to refine product designs to ultimately increase producibility and decrease costs. You will oversee and supervise technicians, programmers, and administrative staff.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Identifying opportunities to implement changes to improve products or reduce costs using knowledge of fabrication processes, tooling & production equipment, assembly methods, quality control stands, product design, materials and parts.
Determining causes of failures using statistical methods and recommending changes in designs, tolerances, or processing methods.
Creating manufacturing prints and drawings to release
OEM/AM Orders; Clarifying process, investigating tolerances and missing dimensions, understanding EDL; identifying common parts from address constant flow of updates and change requests as required, BOM development, consulting with Stolle Engineering Staff at other locations and integrate other engineering functions. Supervising technicians, technologists, analysts, programmers, administrative staff, or other engineers
Incorporating new methods/processes to improve upon existing operations
Providing technical support and expertise related to manufacturing
Reviewing product designs for manufacturability or completeness

Associate s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related plus relevant experience
Extensive mechanical knowledge of fixture design, tool and die, surface grinding, turning, milling, precision grinding techniques, geometric tolerancing, speeds, and feeds
Proven Process improvement Techniques
Aerospace, Can Tooling, Medical in a machine shop environment with tolerances of .0001
