Regional Director of Operations

The Regional Director, Operations is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of operations. The duties include regularly evaluating the efficiency of operational procedures according to organizational objectives, developing and implementing operational, and business plans to advance the company' s mission and objectives, and to promote revenue, profitability and growth as an organization. In addition, this position is responsible for overseeing operations to ensure safety, efficiency, quality, and service, cost-effective management of resources and for setting a positive cultural tone for the organization.
1. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
a. Formulate and improve business processes and policies in support of organizational goals.
b. Participate in long-term business planning at the managerial and executive level.
c. Analyze the performance of support functions (human resources, accounting, IT) and make recommendations for improvement.
d. Advise Manager, Operations on labor issues including safety, employee relations, scheduling, training, investigations etc.
e. Ensure Manager, Operations are adhering to company policy and administering practices in a fair and equitable manner.
f. Set, establish and achieve operational performance objectives.
g. Analyze operational key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop relevant goals and action plans
h. Stay abreast of trends and regulations to ensure effectiveness and compliance with state and federal rules and regulations
i. Monitors and reports on operating costs within functional areas. Make recommendations and implement solutions
j. Train, manage, and motivate Managers in the execution of the agreed upon plans and objectives of the company.
k. Evaluate performance of Managers for compliance with established policies and objectives of the company and contributions in attaining objectives.
1. Bachelor s degree in Business Administration or related field
2. 5+ years of management experience
3. History of leading successful teams and exceeding goals
4. Proven leadership and development skills
5. Familiar with applicable industry laws and legislation
6. Available outside of normal business hours for staff support
