We are conducting a search for a Sales Development Representative for a rapidly growing client of ours who has doubled in size this year and plans to double again next year. Our client s mission goes beyond providing technology solutions for their customers. Through their comprehensive range of services, they ensure their clients stay ahead in the ever-changing technology landscape and the potential of cyber-threats, and help them maximize their overall success. Information security is at our client s core.




The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for developing new business leads and helping to set up new client meetings/ generating a pipeline for the sales team. You will utilize various communication channels to support sales initiatives and prospect potential clients. This position is very important as it is the first point of contact with prospective clients. The SDR will be involved in helping these companies avoid cyber threats and allowing them to manage their ongoing security.




Responsibilities:

Driving the business development processes -- outbound lead generation, setting the stage for successful engagements with positivity, rapport, trust and customer-focus.

Thinking outside of the box in order to create innovative business awareness as well as sales channels.

Acting as the engine of business sales development, revving up and warming up potential clients to be shared with the sales team.

Qualifying high-quality prospects, and helping coordinate the process of bringing on new business.




Qualifications:

At least 1 year of business development experience. If you have done outbound prospecting, including phone calls and emails, that s a plus.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office, CRM systems, LinkedIn, and other business development channels and networking platforms; leverage your communication and business development tools.

Technology-savvy and comfortable talking about technology services and processes; willingness to learn.

History of meeting/ exceeding individual Key Performance Indicators based on business development associate responsibilities.

Naturally curious/ asks thorough and pointed questions, guiding potential clients through needs analysis and discovery sessions to qualify the lead and drive new opportunities.

Customer service driven demeanor.

Strong communication skills.

Work with strong sense of urgency and volume orientation.

Self-motivated, dedicated, and driven to succeed.

Ambitious and positive, with an entrepreneurial spirit.

Eagerness to wear a variety of hats to get the job done.
