Sales and Marketing Representative

We are seeking a Sales and Marketing Representative for our client' s St. Louis, MO territory. With facilities across the United States, operations in the United Kingdom and a global network of partners servicing more than 70 countries around the world, this company is the leader of their industry worldwide, serving 80 percent of the Fortune 500 companies.
The Sales and Marketing Representative will be responsible for initiating contact with existing and potential new customers to maintain business partnerships within the targeted industries to identify their needs and market appropriate products and services to meet those needs. The compensation package includes a base salary, bonus, car allowance, expense account, comprehensive benefits, and 401 (k).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Identify new prospective customers by establishing and maintaining relationships within targeted industries through face to face meetings, distribution of marketing collateral and telephone prospecting.
Responsible for productive route calls to customers in order to develop and maintain a strong relationship with Company, identify opportunities for commercial business, and educate them on Company s full range of products and services.
Generate new business opportunities through promotions and marketing efforts to include research, telephone prospecting, cold calling, referral incentives and networking.
Develop new business and maintain business relationships through active participation and networking in local industry associations and events.
Conduct tours if required by district.
Coordinate with Company s brand partners marketing opportunities.
Coordinate work by communicating with colleagues within sales division.
Develop relationships in the local business community that provides for market intelligence on our competition along with prospective new business ventures that could utilize Company s services and products.
Develop an understanding of Company s array of products and services to integrate with customer needs.
Education/ Experience - Bachelor s degree; some sales/ marketing experience during or post college.
