Senior Quality Assurance Manager
Our client is a global leader in the cosmetics industry with a history of innovation and success. Their global team is comprised of passionate, intelligent and creative professionals with a commitment to cruelty-free product formulation. The organization is undergoing a global expansion, moving into 32 countries in the next year.
I am currently looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Manager to join their growing team. The focus will be on ensuring product specification standards are met. This is a specialized role designed to guarantee customer satisfaction.
Compensation includes base salary, full benefits, 401k, PTO, gratis, etc.
Essential Job Functions
Oversee the overall inspection of quality of the newness program
Establish QA specification during PD and as needed
Assist in responding to customer service, website, sales etc with quality related matters
Ensure that all master standards and PPS standards are in place
Ensure that the brow and replenishment approval are done in timely manner
Oversee that all records are properly maintained
Oversee that all sections of trackers are current
Maintain the retain room live sample
Supervise team in office and assure each individual are performing their assigned tasks in a productive/accurate manner
Direct the QA Associates daily in handling projects, exceptions and troubleshooting etc
Prioritize the job order for the QA Associates
Follow up on sample submission is done in timely manner
Perform press check
Assist in reviewing AW as needed (routings and proofs)
Assist Warehouse QA as needed
Perform other jobs as needed and as requested by VP of Quality Assurance
- Quality Assurance experience within the Cosmetic Industry.
- BS degree in Scientific discipline or equivalent.
Other Skills and Abilities
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Able to handle multiple projects and exercise good judgment in prioritizing tasks.
High level of attention to detail.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, Adobe and document management templates.
Strong communication skills (oral, written, and interpersonal).
