$120, 000 Base Salary + Commissions $30, 000-$40, 000 in year #1 + Car Exp - $10, 000 per year + Entertainment Exp Account + Comprehensive Benefits Package. By year #3 in this business you should be making $250, 000-$300, 000 or higher.
The Employee Engagement & Recognition industry is one of the few sales industries left (financial services; software.) where you can earn from $300, 000-$500, 000-$750, 000-$1, 000, 000 annually due to residuals and average size of the sale you are working on. In addition, this industry is truly a " significant" type of sale in terms of the impact you will have on a daily basis
The ideal candidate would entail:
-BA/BS Degree; Masters or MBA a plus
~7 years-10 years of successful outside sales experience (i.E. Rookie of the Year; President' s Club Award Winner; Consistent Top 10%-20% sales rankings; Promotions)
-Very open to different types of sales backgrounds. Medical, Dental & Pharmaceutical have worked, especially with prior B2B sales.
-Experience in dealing with longer sales cycles (6 months-12 months-18 months) and in presenting to HR, Dept. Head' s, VP' s & C-Suite).
-A strong collaborator within your own organization. You will be heading up the presentation, but having other departments come with you to help with input on the RFP & the presentations.
