My client company is looking to hire a Technical Sales Support Specialist. This role will provide technical, marketing, and administrative support to the inside and outside sales team.

Here' s what you' ll be doing:

Working in a fast paced industrial service business focused environment

Working one on one with outside salespeople to help them manage and develop existing customers and prospect for new ones

Assisting outside salespeople with obtaining and scheduling appointments with customers

Effectively communicate/convey ideas and concepts to customers

Identify and implement effective inside sales and marketing campaigns for targeting specific market segments and generating new sales

Research existing and prospective vendors to obtain pricing and quotes for products and parts for the outside salespeople and end user customers

Understand processes and identify opportunities for improving them

Identify and implement effective inside sales and marketing campaigns for targeting specific market segments and generating new sales

Create and manage a system for distributing and tracking sales leads and success rates

Create and manage a system for tracking quotations that will help outside salespeople close more sales

Write impactful and effective sales quotations to assist outside salespeople in securing new business

Use creativity in solving problems for outside salespeople and customers

Perform and accomplish multiple tasks and assignments in parallel

Required Skills & Experience:

High School diploma (required); Community College or University Degree in Business Administration / Marketing (preferred)

Outside Sales Support Minimum 3 years experience

Inside Customer Service Representative Minimum 3 years experience

Telemarketing or Telephone Sales

Experience working in an Industrial Sales and Service environment

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

Flexibility to travel for product training classes
