We are currently seeking a Plant Manager to join the world-class team at our client s premier facility in Manhattan, Montana. Our client is a very successful, growth oriented thermo-plastics producer developing turnkey programs for home appliance, hardware, outdoor / recreational, medical and communications markets. They continue to serve an increasingly global customer base with technically advanced facilities.
This is a critical role in their daily operations as well as the overall management of the company operations in Manhattan MT.
Position is responsible for the safety of the employees, quality of the products produced, and the efficiency of the machines and labor. You will be responsible for the daily operations, and ensuring that all employees perform their duties per established company procedures and guidelines.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitor and improve molding operations, efficiencies, utilization and products quality.
Utilize IQMS reporting system for variances to standard and corrective measures
Establish daily work procedures for Shift Supervisors
Maintain quality levels to standard using ISO 9000 & 13485 guidelines
Monitor and understand all documentation used on the production floor.
Work with Supervisors & Techs to develop skills and follow LEAN production concepts
Understand processing concepts that help determine locked processes using Scientific Molding principles
Make personnel decisions and administer discipline that is consistent with company policy.
Follow training procedures / onboarding for all new employees in production
Identify problems and carry out solutions for machine, mold, material, or procedural problems to include physically performing the job task when necessary.
Work on continuous improvement for all the above.
Evaluate employees regularly and communicate their performance.
Communicate effectively within and participate with Executive Staff for corporate mgmt
Physical Requirements:
Math skills and ability to read technical data & 2D drawings
Ability to stand for 8.0 hours. Must be able to lift 50 pounds as needed.
Capable of performing bending, lifting overhead, reaching, twisting, pushing and pulling movements as required by the job task being performed at any given time during a scheduled work shift.
Qualifications:
Able to troubleshoot injection molding process and auxiliary equipment.
Promote a team atmosphere LEAN principles
Experienced with plant operations Min 10 years experience
Degree in Business or Engineering preferred
Compensation:
Base Salary of $80, 000-$120, 000
Dental/Health Insurance 100% paid
