Job Description

They are looking for goal-oriented, self-motivated tenacious individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit to manage a team of outside salespeople. They are a 3rd generation, family-owned company that truly cares about its customers and employees.




They sell state-of-the-art equipment to hotels, hospitals, colleges, sports facilities and fitness centers. Their goal is to help investors and business owners maximize profit and returns on their investments.







RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Exceed revenue and account growth goals for equipment
  • Create a culture of sales success and goal achievement
  • Strengthen revenue-generating strategies for the team
  • Work closely with sales staff to facilitate financing approvals, lease negotiations, contractor coordination, and equipment logistics and ordering
  • Close sales using excellent customer service and salesmanship
  • Develop strategies for effective sales closing and tracking a sales pipeline
  • Maintain key customer relationships, engage key stakeholders, develop and implement strategies for expanding the company' s customer base
  • Track personal appointments, status reports, and sales, and provide biweekly updates
  • Meet or exceed monthly/yearly sales goals
  • Participation as needed in industry trade shows and events




REQUIREMENTS:



  • Must live in the Los Angeles area
  • 10+ years of experience managing large account sales and business development teams.
  • 5 years in managing sales teams, particularly in a B2B or distribution environment
  • Must have outstanding oral, written, and verbal communication/presentation skills as well as strong negotiation skills.
  • Experience developing data-driven forecasts, analytics and KPI s
  • Must have proficient knowledge of CRM software and the ability to utilize it daily.
  • Must have a high level of comfort in communicating with every level of an organization from top-level executives to field personnel.
  • Must possess strong business acumen and professionalism
  • Must be financially competent in managing the teams budget.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:



  • $130, 000 - $150, 000 base salary plus bonus/commission
  • $500/month car allowance
  • Company credit card for client entertainment and expenses
  • Full benefits and 401k with company match
