*Strategic Account Management Opportunity -Employee Recognition & Engagement Industry - Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina metro area.
This client was recently named as one of the 150 Best Companies to work for the 3rd consecutive year! They work with the Fortune 1000 to help them improve in their employee' s experience (EX) thru a Saas-based solution to drive behavior and engagement, as well as reward employees.
You will be working with one Enterprise Technology Client and focused on the account development & account management in selling a wide variety of Employee Engagement HR solutions throughout the organization' s different departments.
This is a very complex and solution-oriented sale where you will be " Quarterbacking" the sales process internally and selling to a wide variety of different departments including Human Resources; Marketing; Training; Quality Assurance in dealing with employees of those departments, Department Heads, VP' s and the C-Suite in this RFP process.
Base Salary of $125, 000 Base-$150, 000-$175, 000 (DOE) + Commission $225, 000 in year #1; $250, 000+ in year #2 + Expense Account + a very comprehensive benefits package that starts day 1 of employment (401K match - 50 cents on the dollar) +$10, 000 a year car allowance. .
The Employee Engagement & Recognition industry is one of the few sales industries left (financial services; software.) where you can earn from $300, 000-$500, 000> annually due to residuals and an average size of the sale you are working on. In addition, this industry is truly a " significant" type of sale in terms of the impact you w/ill have on a daily basis
-BA/BS Degree; Activities/Leadership on campus; NCAA Sports.
-8 years-12+ years of outside sales success. Ideally selling to Enterprise accounts.
-Looking for candidates that are used to a longer selling cycle (6 months-1 year on the shorter end; 12-24 months on the longer side) & selling a bigger sales item ($250, 000-$500, 000 to $1, 000, 000-$2, 000, 000 million).
-Ideally, candidates who have worked for a Fortune 1000 organization.
-Passionate and knowledgeable about technology.
-Although a very different type of sale, the hiring manager is open to candidates coming from the Pharmaceutical (Specialty Roles; Hospital Rep' s; Buy & Bill products) & Medical Sales backgrounds due to the extensive account development/account management needed in the role.
-Stability - 3 roles max in a 10-year timeline
